The Altar
Words and Music by Ray Boltz
The service is nearing an end
The choir is singing "Just As I Am"
And now as the old song is played
People at the altar
Are kneeling down to pray
Some are finding mercy
Forgiveness for their sin
Some are fighting battles
And they're struggling to win
The time has come
To give them to the Lord
That's what the altar is for
CHORUS:
That's what this altar is for
You don't have to carry
Those burdens anymore
There's a light in the darkness
There's a love that's true
And Jesus is waiting
He is waiting here for you
Go quickly now
Before they close the door
That's what the altar is for
A father is praying with his son
A mother kneels beside them
Thanking God they've come
An old man
Is standing there in tears
Giving up a part of him
That he's held back for years
Hearts are being broken
Lives are being changed
And those who call upon Him
Will never be the same
The time has come
To give in to the Lord
That's what this altar is for
CHORUS (repeat)
Go quickly now
Before they close the door
And you can give your burdens
To the Lord
That's what this altar is for

Here Comes A Miracle
Words and Music by Ray Boltz and Steve Millikan
They followed Him on dusty roads
Wherever He would lead
Multitudes would gather
As He healed each disease
With eyes of wonder they would watch
As He would stop to pray
And when He spoke the word of faith
You could hear them say
CHORUS:
Here comes a miracle
Here comes a miracle
Can't you feel it in the air?
That look is on His face
His glory is in this place
And I know a miracle is near
The lame could walk
The deaf could hear
Blinded eyes could see
And those who had been
Bound for years
Were suddenly set free
They came in desperation
The hurting and the poor
But when they saw Him
Through the crowd
They knew what was in store
CHORUS
And still today we follow Him
We claim His Word is true
And nothing is impossible
What He says He will do
And though this world may doubt us
And though they laugh and stare
Someday all men will see the Truth
When we see Him in the air
CHORUS
Here comes a miracle

Watch The Lamb
Words and Music by Ray Boltz
Walking on the road to Jerusalem
The time had come to sacrifice again
My two small sons,
They walked beside me on the road
The reason that they came
Was to watch the lamb
CHORUS:
Daddy, daddy what will we see there?
There's so much we don't understand
So I told them of Moses
And Father Abraham
And then I said,
Dear children, Watch the lamb
For there will be so many
In Jerusalem today
We must be sure the lamb
Doesn't run away
And I told them of Moses
And Father Abraham
And then I said,
Dear children, Watch the lamb
When we reached the city
I knew something must be wrong
There were no joyful worshippers
No joyful worship songs
I stood there with my children
In the midst of angry men
And then I heard the crowd cry out,
Crucify Him
We tried to leave the city
But we could not get away
Forced to play in this drama,
A part I did not wish to play
Why upon this day
Were men condemned to die?
Why were we standing here
Where soon they would pass by?
I look and said, Even now they come
The first one cried for mercy,
The people gave him none
The second one was violent,
He was arrogant and loud
I still can hear his angry voice
Screaming at the crowd
Then someone said, There's Jesus!
And I scarce believed my eyes
A man so badly beaten,
He barely looked alive
Blood poured from His body,
From the thorns upon His brow
Running down the cross
And falling to the ground
I watched Him as He struggled
I watched Him as He fell
The cross came down upon His back,
The crowd began to yell
In that moment I felt such agony
In that moment I felt such loss
Until a Roman soldier grabbed my arm
And screamed, You, carry His cross!
At first I tried to resist him
Then his hand reached for his sword
And so I knelt and took
The cross from the Lord
I placed it on my shoulder
And started down the street
The blood that He'd been shedding
Was running down my cheek
They led us to Golgotha
They drove nails
Deep in His feet and hands
An yet upon the cross
I heard Him pray, Father forgive them
Oh, never have I seen such love
In any other eyes
Into they hands I commit My spirit,
He prayed and then He died
I stood for what seemed like years
I'd lost all sense of time
Until I felt two tiny hands
Holding tight to mine
My children stood there weeping
I heard the oldest say
Father, please forgive us
The lamb ran away
Daddy, daddy what have we seen here?
There's so much
That we don't understand
So I took them in my arms
And we turned and faced the cross
And then I said,
Dear children, watch the Lamb

Let's Begin Again
Words and Music by Ray Boltz and Steve Millikan
I can still remember
When we said our wedding vows
We gave the Lord our hearts
And our home
But lately we've been so busy
It's changing us somehow
I wonder if that's why
We feel alone
CHORUS:
Let's begin again
Trust in Him and not our feelings
Let's leave the loneliness behind
Take my hand and then
We can find a new beginning
Let's begin again
While there's still time
Jesus made a promise
If two of us agree
The Father up above
Would hear our prayer
He is still the healer
Of hurting families
And there is hope
As long as He is there
CHORUS (repeat)

Take Up Your Cross
Words by Steve Millikan, Jane Johanson and Ray Boltz, Music by Steve Millikan
CHORUS:
Take up your cross
And follow Jesus
Take up your cross
Every day
Don't be ashamed
To say that you know Him
Count the cost
Then take up your cross
And follow Him
CHORUS
What are you doing for the King?
Have you given everything
For the one
Who gave His all for you?
Don't be satisfied just to know
That the Lord has saved your soul
Have you forgotten
What you need to do?
CHORUS (repeat)
I said I know sometimes
That the road is long
And I know sometimes
You feel like you can't go on
But you just...
CHORUS
